Hare continued his education at The Boston Conservatory where he majored in Musical Theater. While studying at the Conservatory he performed in various musicals and plays. In addition to studying voice, Hare studied Acting, where he was recognized and praised for his unique approach to acting. During his senior year he collaborated on and performed in an original musical, as well as directing two plays and acting in a television role.

After graduating from The Boston Conservatory, David Hare began singing and co-writing for a New Zealand Rock group called Russia. Hare and the band?s first public appearance was performing live for a national television broadcast in New Zealand. After this well received introduction, Hare and the band spent nine months playing sold out shows at large venues.

David Hare returned to Hollywood, California and began writing and performing locally as a solo acoustic artist. Hare?s dedication and talents have gained the respect of many of his peers within the songwriting community. He writes and performs his original songs, pleasing audiences in the USA with his solo acoustic sets.

Barak Ben-haim, singer/songwriter for Loaded Coil has this to say on the nature of music, thought, and press releases, “Most hype-engines run out of gas long before reaching the pot of gold. So much of what Loaded Coil Is about for me is capturing those real and sentient moments, and conciously moving ourselves beyond the formulaic modes of behavior and thought we are conditioned to experience. The great challenge to be vulnerable and real. About the meaning of the title track, “Molecular”, Barak had this to say, ” It is an affirmation about remembering that we are all moving towards something that we cannot see right now, but we will know what that is in time. That song was written during a very emotional and painful chapter of my life. I found myself needing to remind myself to be patient, and to remember that emotional pain is a rite of passage. That the bigger picture had to do with my evolution as a human being and that I was experiencing something that would help me grow.”

Press Release: Sometime in September of 1998, recording engineer and music producer Mike Shellito flipped his lid. Dropping everything, he packed his studio into a U-Haul trailer and drove from his home turf in Philadelphia to a cabin in Blythewood, South Carolina. There, in total isolation, he embarked on an intense four-week creative exploration.

This marked the beginning of the majestic Ingredients. Well, it wasn’t total isolation. First of all, he brought his dog, Bones. Eventually Shellito and Bones were joined by Jeff Tanner of the Photon Band. Ingredients became a two-year project for Shellito and Tanner, during which they wrote songs together and perfected their sound. The result could not possibly be any more honest or wholesome.

Ingredients is a polished gem, full of lush, highly addictive vocal melodies, surging synthesizer passages, light acoustic guitar strumming, and quality songwriting that would hold even the fickle interest of the most ADD-afflicted Guided By Voices fan. Each song stands as a testament to Shellito’s greatness, grabbing firmer hold of the listener’s heart with each listen.

Mike Shellito first began recording under his surname in August 1996 and released a solo Shellito record, On Sale in 1997. Ingredients was released in 2000. Shellito will be releasing a new album called benevolent laser in the fall of 2006.

Biography: January 2006 marked the six year anniversary since Perfect Mercy emerged into the music world. In that time, the band has honed a sound that is described by fans as the next magnetic prototype for modern music. The five piece group has formulated an eclectic mix of rock, blues, funk & reggae. Though each style is only recognized as an influence, it lends to a sound that grasps music lovers young and old. The all-embracing mix of inspiration for the members of Perfect Mercy has produced an unequivocal style that proves to not be restricted or pigeonholed. Shannon Lindsey was born and raised in North East, Pennsylvania; a small town just outside of Erie. Since the age of four, she has graced the stage with her talent as an entertainer. In 1999, Shannon won Western Pennsylvania’s Female Vocalist of the Year and later moved to the south in search of a better venue for her distinctive sound and song writing skills. The engaging search for an esteemed guitarist/songwriter led to Knoxville, Tennessee native Justin Parker.

Parker had recently left Box Wagon Candy Band (now known as Jag Star) to pursue different musical tastes and was searching for musicians for a new project. When he and Lindsey met in mid January of 2000 for a jam session, they knew immediately that they were on to something. ?Everything just clicked from the first note,? says Parker. ?By the end of that session we had already written three songs and I knew the moment I heard Shannon sing I had to be in a band with her. I had just hoped that she liked how I played guitar.”

They began building a reputation for being one of the area’s hardest working bands. Crafting a different sound and dedicating themselves to their performances has paved a path to opportunities such as performing with artists like Dexter Freebish, Pat McGhee Band, Seven Nations, and Tinsley Ellis. Perfect Mercy has also supported local charities such as Relay For Life, Children’s Hospital Dance Marathon, and Second Harvest Food Bank. The band has organized an annual multi-band concert, Jam For Cans, which benefits Second Harvest Food Bank.

As the band grew creatively, some of its members were either unable to commit to those changes or had other issues in their lives which prevented them performing with the band. This brought many line-up changes to the rhythm section. In an effort to expand the band’s sound, they searched for a keyboardist and a second female voice for harmony. Susie Haas answered the call in 2003 and opened a whole new dimension for the band, creating a “cinematic sound” that demands to be experienced.

Perfect Mercy?s process of writing music consists of only one equation: collaboration. While inspiration for a song may present in different ways, their key to success is input from each of the band?s members. ?We don?t have one particular formula for writing the song,? says vocalist, Shannon Lindsey. ?Sometimes I?ll have lyrics or a melody line that Justin adds a guitar part to. Other times, the band will just start jamming and I?ll hear the vocal in my head.? The band?s open approach allows a multitude of musical influences to shine through. “We try to capture everyone’s ideas and creativity into everything we write,” says Haas. “When we’ve accomplished that, we end up with a song that means so much to all of us.”

When I was 11 years old, my parents brought me back a beautiful, high-grade blonde Spanish gut-string guitar from Madrid. I immediately enrolled in the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music for Spanish/classical lessons, getting the rudiments. — Then, I heard James Marshal Hendrix variously kicking and stroking off-world sounds out of his upside-down, reverse-strung Stratocaster. “Axis: Bold as Love” raised him to new heights, and then, in September 1968, his crowning self-produced double Masterpiece, “Electric Ladyland, debuted. That clinched it. I played with several bands. Got a regular following. My own style grew through — in addition to other influences — experimentation with exotic tunings and methods. I released an LP in the 80′s called “We’re All Ghosts From The Future” for which I received a lot of college radio play nationwide and a slew of great reviews in indie magazines and from DJs.~Fred~

Fred Mitchem learned the rudiments of classical music as a child, after his parents brought him home a Spanish gut-string guitar from Madrid at the age of eleven, when he enrolled for two years in the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. His real learning – and musical personality – took shape when he started playing to Jimi Hendrix records, as well as Cream and Wishbone Ash. Sir Ian McKellen has been named Britain’s most influential gay.

The British actor has topped the ‘Pink List – anView the profile for Pink on Celebrity Spotlight annual ranking of gay men and women who are leaders in industry including the arts, media, politics and business.

McKellen – who is best known for his movie roles in ‘The Lord of the Rings’, the ‘X-Men’ trilogy and ‘Gods And Monsters – is also a tireless campaigner for gay rights.

The actor has knocked flamboyant pop star – and fellow recipient of a knighthood from Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II – Sir Elton John into second place.

The list was unveiled a day after 40,000 people marched through the streets of London in the EuroPride parade.
